St Columban's PS School Council is an elected group of pupils involved in making decisions on a range of aspects of school life. The school council provides a voice for the pupils and gives them a degree of ownership and responsibility for decisions being made within the school. 

School Councillors are elected by the pupils in their class to:  

Take the views of classmates to the School Council.

• Work alongside Mrs Gallagher to give opinions and ideas to make our school better.
• Go to School Council meetings and take part in discussions and debates.
• Let the class know what was discussed at the meetings.
• Be involved in projects that the School Council run.
• After School Council meetings the councillors report our discussions back to their class.
