Primary 6 and 7 pupils enjoyed a cross curricular lesson involving conkers! Mrs Gallagher found a huge horse chestnut tree which resulted in her collecting ( with helpers) a huge bag of the shiny, round, mysterious beauties!!!
The children began by using adjectives and phrases to describe the conkers, then in groups they created fab acrostic poems....the lesson was finished with amazing creations being made! Great fun for a Friday afternoon.
