P4/5 conducted an investigation to see how much rain fell over a 24hr period in the school playground! They collected their rain in glass jars, positioning them in different places (some sheltered, some slightly sheltered & some totatally exposed). When they went fo find their results the next day, they used rulers to measure how many centimetres had fallen. They found that different jars had different results to others, with some having as little as nothing whilst others had half a cm or even 1 whole centimetre!
