Our p6 & 7 classes had a fantastic trip to Stormont on Thursday. The boys and girls had a chance to have a tour of the building with very our informative tour guide, Andrew. They learned lots of interesting history about the building itself and finished off the tour with a look inside the Assembly Chamber, where they got to take part in their very own vote!
After the tour of Stormont we made our way to Rushmere Shopping Centre, where the boys and girls got to indulge in some retail therapy and fuel up for the journey home in McDonald's.
Many thanks to Jemma Dolan MLA for meeting our pupils on the day and to herself and Pat Cullen for facilitating the tour. It was a truly memorable trip, which we hope the boys and girls will talk about for many years to come.
