On Monday a lady called Ann-Marie who works for an organisation called Sustrans came to assembly. She told all the pupils how St Columban's has been selected to participate in a programme this year, which encourages active travel to school-lucky us!!
She also explained that as part of this programme, they would get to participate in a number of events and activities throughout the school year which promotes active travel to school as well as educating them all on how to be safe when travelling to school.
She brought along her friend 'Mike the bike' and showed them the necessary and important things they would need when travelling actively to school.
